FABRICATION

04

Where does Valencienne get its fabrics?

We source our fabrics globally. From small and large suppliers world-wide, the fabric options are truly endless - needle point laces from Alençon, France, duppioni from Como, Italy, and brocade silks from Madrid, Spain, are only a few of the wide range of materials we carry.

05

What is bespoke beading?

If a bride’s personal style cannot be found reflected in an already existing beaded tulle or beaded lace, Valencienne will design a beading pattern specifically to reflect her preferences, choose individual beads best suited to her taste, and enlist the help of our esteemed off-shore partners to hand-bead the unique design. From the simplest beaded veil trim, to the most intricate design for a fully beaded dress, the options for bespoke beading are truly endless.
