Style Me Pretty Series: The”Cool Girl” Bride

In this second Style Me Pretty Series, Valencienne was asked to create two custom pieces, our mantra for this creative was from one of my favorite poets Atticus “Love Her But Leave Her Wild”. I felt these pieces had to be unique, sexy, demure with a little rock and roll wild, to truly speak to the poetry.

Valencienne Bridal black corset bra with silk hi-lo bridal skirt
The epitome of cool in a Valencienne separates.

The gown was as delicate as a whisper, made of the lightest weight Chantilly French lace with a slip dress lining, it molded to our brides figure beautifully, the gowns bodice was slightly structured, with pretty little cap sleeves. Our Alesia gown was perfect to represent the wild nature of this creative. The second piece was to enhance the wild abandonment of this bride and to capture her joie-de-vivre . A black leather moto jacket was paired with a sexy corset bra, enhanced with a billowing silk dupioni skirt, her personality magnified as she danced and laughed, and played to the camera.

Fall may feel like ages away this time of year, but as any busy bride knows, it’s just the blink of an eye in wedding planning time. *Cue* this inspiration shoot designed in the hands of The White Book Wedding Co. Striking just the right balance of edgy yet feminine, the images by Corina V. Photography are just the moody inspiration pieces every autumn bride needs to see.

Love Her But Leave Her Wild

Atticus

For the girl who is easy to love but hard to tame, this styled wedding perfectly captures the elegance and couture air of french gardens and estates with the ever-so-cool french girl vibe. Shot on location in the Orchard room of Langdon Hall Country House and featuring the stunning Jocelyn from Elmer Olsen Models, our chic bride wears two looks on her wedding day to emulate her many sides.

Soft and demure white cap sleeve lace and, sexy and fierce in a two piece lingerie and Dupioni silk ballgown skirt, both custom designed by Valencienne Bridal Design. Dreamy fall air, gorgeous gardens and the classic french doors made the perfect space for Corina V Photography to capture the beauty and wilderness of Jocelyn and the stunning hair and makeup done by Ladylyn Gool and Dawna Boot Makeup.

Matching the light but dark side vibe of our bride, inspiration was pulled from Ellie Cashman’s collection of Dark Floral Wallpaper, making it the focal point backdrop of the tablescape. Planned and designed by The White Book, soft blushes, blacks, and golds were pulled throughout the theme with touches in the Ted Baker show lining and in the gorgeous invitation suite by Andrea Crofts Studios.

French embossed gray plates, black chiffon napkins, layered taupe chiffon runner and brass candlesticks perfectly pulled the palette together on a gorgeous wood harvest table from Warehouse 84. Custom menus and favor tags reading “love her wild” inspired by the Atticus quote were wrapped around perfect little black and gold boxes Instead of a cake with flowers, each guest receives a pretty little box of sweet flowers by Crumb and Berry.

Floral Fantasy.
