Bridal Market isn’t ALL work, work, work. In between the fashion shows and fabulousness, I take time to check in on gorgeous custom pieces being made, new fabrics, sparkling buttons and detailed lace. I use every single second in the city that never sleeps to seek out inspiration with gusto, relish in the details and design palettes of perfect handpicked details just for Valencienne customers. It’s truly one of my favourite parts… being in the hub of fashion, making my clients dreams come true!

First, the lace. In case we have never met, you may not be aware but I am OBSESSED with gorgeous lace. I love the intricate detailing. The patterns. It’s so stunning when scalloped around a neckline, layered softly across a bodice, or draped dramatically in a detailed train.

Let’s talk beaded overlays… you know, for the bride who likes “subtle”. These are the statement pieces that shimmer and shine down the aisle. They softly drape, envelope and hug every curve while adding glamour to your gown.

Oh, and the buttons… the essential finishing touch of any ensemble and the use of swarovski makes any button sparkle and stand out. Don’t you just LOVE these?

Often our dress designs incorporate ribbons, hand beaded sashes or other finishing details. You may know me as the bow queen and it’s for good reason. Fabric (and bows especially) just get me.

Oh, and just incase you’re more of a pearl girl… I’ve got you VERY covered. From fresh water to man made in every shade of the rainbow. We’re loving all things pearl.
