Valencienne has been part of the Toronto’s bridal community for 30+ years, and we’ve seen our share of ups, downs, cheers, tears – but most of all JOY. Brides, moms, maids & littles come to us with visions of their special days, trusting we will bring them to life with equal parts artistry & skill, with splashes of magical moments along the way.
But it all starts with a sketch…ok, and maybe a glass of bubbly (or two), plus a great chat over my pink marble table. If you’re like many brides-to-be right now, you know you need to plan for your wedding, and how many details centre around “The Dress”. At this challenging time, hopes of a fun day dress shopping with your bride tribe fade with each passing week. Your Pinterest board is overflowing with inspiration…from other people’s weddings.
But Your Wedding is fast approaching & you know you want to plan an amazing dress and day, while staying safe! So where’s the joy? Well, that’s where Valencienne comes in.
There’s something magical about the joy I see in a bride’s face as she sees her vision come to life on my sketchbook during our consultation together, and hey, we can all use as much happiness as we can get right now, agreed? With that in mind, I’m beyond thrilled to introduce my new virtual experience at Valencienne:
Bridal Design Online.
During an exciting hour long interactive session, we’ll share screens as I sketch the dress of your dreams.

THE PROCESS
- Each bridal design online session is up to 1 hour long.
- During this time we’ll talk about your ideas and inspiration, and how to incorporate them into a successful design from a pattern, fabric and fit perspective.
- I will sketch the gown as we chat, pulling in inspiration and details from our discussion as I go.
- Within 24 hours of our appointment, you will receive a watermarked, high-resolution scanned image of your sketch and VOILA- suddenly, you have that visual focal point to continue building your wedding plans on.
THE INVESTMENT
- A design session is $150, payable when your appointment is booked
- The original paper sketch without watermark may be purchased as a keepsake for an additional $150 plus shipping costs. Sketch will be mailed in a sturdy shipping roll to protect from damage.
- Should you decide to have Valencienne bring your sketch to life and create your dress, your $150 design session will be credited against the purchase price of the gown.
**We require 24 hours notice for appointment changes/cancellations.
