Even not so popular gowns like Rhiannas’, people have  had negative opinion towards but there is no doubt that  that will set a trend for big ball room skirts.  Looking at something like this massive pink empire ball gown designed by Giambattista Valli, it may not be everyones taste.  A design like this shows how fashion always takes a turn in a different direction. All of a sudden, big ball gown skirts are taking a lift once again when we just came our of a period where it was all about slim, sexy and form fitting designs. This year big ball gown skirts are back in! There’s something really classic about wearing a full ball gown skirt for your wedding day.Valencienne Bridal, Custom Design, Ball Gown, French Lace, Grammys 2015, Silk, Tulle, Ballroom Skirt

Valencienne loves ballroom skirts. From our beginnings 30 years ago, we have excelled in corseted bodices and ballroom skirts. We surely will be celebrating this fabulous look this year in, 2015. Its so funny how everything old is new again. The Valencienne gown below created in this 1988 editorial was extremely short and had a ruffled, long over skirt. Today we see that ruffles are back, over skirts are popular and high-low lengths are exploding!newNow that the Grammy’s are over, we look forward to the Academy Awards with great anticipation to see which direction fashion will go next.
